Chennai, September 2024: Mukti, a service initiative of the M.S. Dadha Foundation. Established 38 years ago, Mukti is dedicated to providing artificial limbs to amputees and calipers to those affected by polio. To date, we have distributed over 400,000 mobility aids at no charge.
At Mukti, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to dream and access equal opportunities. Life’s challenges, whether from accidents or unforeseen circumstances, can be daunting. We offer support to individuals with physical and emotional injuries through free artificial limbs, calipers, physiotherapy sessions, and vocational training. Our goal is to help them regain their confidence, achieve self-sufficiency, and support their families.
We regularly host events to raise awareness and boost self-esteem. Today, we held a job mela for individuals with disabilities, which connected talented job seekers with potential employers. We were thrilled to see over 25 recruiters and 350 job seekers participate. As result, approximately individuals with disabilities have been shortlisted for secure positions with competitive salaries following online interviews with various companies.

This event was reminiscent of a similar fair we held in 1994, motivating us to consider organizing more such events in the future. We would like to express our gratitude to all the recruiters for their cooperation and support.
