The Punjab Association’s mega health camp, held at Anna Adarsh College for Women, Anna Nagar today, attracted the participation of over 600 patients, and the general public. This free camp was organised by the Medical Wing of The Punjab Association in collaboration with Punjab Women’s Association,Punjab Youth Association Registered, Adinath Jain Trust, Apollo Hospitals and Lions Blood Bank.
Ms. Shilpam Kapur Rathore, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Aranya Foundation, a charitable trust, inaugurated the health camp and spoke about the importance of medical interventions in saving lives. A large number of students, parents, and volunteers also took part in the event.
The health camp featured a host of services, including blood sugar, blood pressure tests, ECG, ECHO, dental, and ophthalmology, and free consultations from specialists. Besides, a blood donation drive, and distribution of free artificial limbs to people with disabilities were also organised.
