Adinath Jain Trust Seva Kendra empowers 550 differently abled underprivileged people with free prosthetic aids worth Rupees 20 Lakhs 

In an endeavour to empower people with movement disability in their journey from dependence to independence, Adinath Jain Trust, Choolai, Chennai, organised a camp for distributing free prosthetic mobility aids worth Rupees Twenty Lakhs for 550 beneficiaries. 

The camp was presided over by Hon’ble Chief Justice Shri Munishwar Nathji Bhandari of Madras High Court as the Chief Guest and other dignitaries includingShri Pyarelalji Pitalia (T.N Jain minority Commission member), Shri Praveenji Tatia (T.N Jain minority Commission member, Shri Rameshji Mutha (President Sri Jain Swetambar Nakoda Parshwanath Tirth), Shri D.K Jain (JITO Chairman – Chennai Chapter), Shri Prakashchandji Gulecha (President, Shri Akhil Bhartiya Sudharma Jain Sangh, T.N), Shri Rajeshji Choradia (M.C ward 57 Chennai), Shri Madanlalji Chowatia (Trustee – Kesarvadi Puzhal Tirth), Shri Jayantilalji Bagrecha (President – Sri Shivanchi Jain Sangh) and Shri Ajitji Gothi (Correspondent – Ratankanwar Bhawarlal Gothi College for Women).

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Praveenji Tatia said, “With a motto of creating and nurturing an inclusive society for the differently abled, we at Adinath Jain Trust have been organising periodical screening and distribution camps for providing artificial prosthetic mobility aids to people with movement disabilities for 42 years now. So far, we have benefitted over 12 lakh people and with today’s camp, we have transformed the lives of 550 more! Our actions stem from our strong belief that with such prosthetic mobility aids, not only will their quality of lives improve, but their confidence and social standing in the society will be elevated to the next level. Furthermore, this will help them seek right employment opportunities that will reduce their dependence on the family members, increase their savings and eventually make their future hopeful, sans the social stigma”.
