Launch of “Digital Samskrtham Basics for Classes  6-12”  

Chennai, March , 2022:

Tapas Trust, an 80G registered charitable trust, has launched its project “Digital Samskrtham Basics for Classes  6 – 12” at the upcoming temple for Kanchi Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal (“MahaPeriyava”), built by Mylai MahaPeriyava Anusham Trust at Pichupillai Street, Mylapore, Chennai on 12 March 2022.

This 150-hour digital course covering all aspects of Sanskrit grammar right from the letters to the complex aspects such as Sandhi, Samasa, Upasargas, Pratyayams, Kartari Karmani Prayogas is offered free of cost. 

The highlight of the program is that it includes exhaustive exercises. About forty thousand pairs of sentences have been explained. The medium of instruction is Hindi and English combined .This covers grammar portion for Class 10 and 12 – CBSE as well as NIOS.  

The program is designed by Mr.S.Lakshminarayanan and the classes delivered by Ms. L. Bhuvaneshwari with the technological support provided by Mr. L.Shrinivaasan. The project has been guided by Samskrutha Vidwan Shri. R.Guruprasath, faculty at RKM Vivekananda College .

Scholars and dignitaries including Mahamahopadhyaya Shri Gopalakrishna Sastrigal (Advisor, Central Sanskrit University), Shri.R.Thiagarajan (Retd. HOD of Sanskrit, Presidency College, Chennai), Shri Devi Prasad (Retd. Principal, Madras Sanskrit College , Chennai, Prof C. B.Sharma (former Chairman, NIOS, Govt. of India; Professor at IGNOU) and Shri V.S.Vijayaraghavan, (former Director, M.S.R.V.V.P, Ujjain, Govt of India) participated in the inauguration and spoke about the importance of the program.
